What does El Shaddai mean? What language is it? El Shaddai means God Almighty. Some translate El Shaddai as The All-Sufficient One.
When I went through diagnosis, surgery and treatment for breast cancer, I turned to the names of God for comfort and strength. One of those names was El Shaddai.
God Almighty, who parted the Red Sea for the Israelites, could save me. Sometimes I felt the rivers of cancer raging over my head, and I feared I would drown.
Other times I saw the waters as mountain streams, and God and I walked through them together. I was barefooted and smiling.
This Christmas season as you go through breast cancer surgery and treatment, rest in the power of El Shaddai, God Almighty. He loves you more than you can imagine.
God Almighty can use your journey through breast cancer for good in your life and the lives of others and for his honor and glory.
When you surrender to El Shaddai, watch God Almighty work.
